Re-Dye

Hi Am a newby a very newby, i have a saddle the colour is'nt to good and if possible would like to make it a richer colour at the moment the colour is very flat i would say chocolate brown but being coloured blind it may not be lol , this would be my first attempt and would a ppreciate any help or step by step guidance.

I had hoped someone would answer your question. I think the reason this looks "dull" to you is because it has a satin finish. I don't know if it would be worth taking a chance to strip and redye.

What color did you want it to be?

perhaps try posting in the saddlemakers section.....im not sure how many of the braiders on here do that type of work....

Hi Chuck, roo4u is right- this might be the wrong section...

perhaps you should give "ray holes saddle butter" a chance-

it´s the best for nearly everything!!!
