Just finished a seat which was originally a La Pera chopper seat.. the motive is a family shield for "Quinsgaard" family from the 17th century..

That is KILLER. How do you do the double step and the lacing. :You_Rock_Emoticon:

Thanks a lot! :-)

I´m not sure what you mean by double step? I´m not always familiar with the terms as I have learned most of it my self..

The lacing is very simple, but looks good in my opinion. First one round of ////// stitches, then the second round I cross under to get the XXXXXX stitches.

After I made templates I cut out the leather and laced the motive part and the back part together.. then the sides ant at last the rear part..

Was that answer to your question? :-)

There are two tiers to the seat. First you go around the edge to the back and then up to the next tier. Just wondering did you stitch the entire seat and then apply it to the frame.

No, the seat was attached to the frame when stitching it all up.. I feel i have more control that way but there might be easier ways to do it.

Just found a picture of the seat before I started too.. :-)
