Members Noah Posted July 19, 2008 Members Report Posted July 19, 2008 (edited) I am looking for a leather splitter like I saw in the weaver catalog. It splits 3oz.-14oz. leather. It's 8" wide blade splits the thickness of leather. You can dial it in where you want it and has a hand crank. It pretty pricey there. Is there any place else I could find one? Thanks. Contributing Member TwinOaks Posted July 19, 2008 Contributing Member Report Posted July 19, 2008 Tandy sells one...maybe the same one. Check E-bay, as there's usually a pretty good assortment of leather tools there. Quote
Members greg gomersall Posted July 19, 2008 Members Report Posted July 19, 2008 there is a 6 inch crank splitter made by Landis on ebay right now. They will bring a hundred an inch or more used most of the time in good shape. Greg Quote
Members Noah Posted July 19, 2008 Author Members Report Posted July 19, 2008 Thanks twinoaks. Greg I just checked it out. That's just what I need. Now if my horse trailer would hurry and sell. That's one reason I'm selling it, I need the money for more productive things. I'm in Ohio. I wonder what the shipping would be? Quote
