  1. I am trying to get old singer walkingfoot machine going and will need one of these. If you have one laying around you don't use and want to sell it let me know. You can contact me through here with your price. Thanks.
  2. Ok Thanks. That makes sense. When I have the length I want and am wanting to sew it on, what are the steps to put the sliders on, then sew?
  3. That size is abit better. How about the sliders though? I need 2 on it. I played around and put one on the beginning of the roll {didn't cut any off yet} and it works but now what? If I take it off it's open.
  4. I appreciate the effort to show me with pics, but on dialup I load them. I clicked on the small pic to see it closer and it's way too big for me.
  5. I had a thread on where I could find such zippers and can't find that thread, so I'll put this here. I am putting new metal zippers in a hild's backpack. I found some that's perfect on a roll, and have the sliders. I don't have end pieces but with this project I think I can work around that. SO, how do I make this all work? There was a Lady willing to give me instructions but I can find her here.
  6. Thanks for the info.. Bronco are you saying YOU might have this? I will get the exact measurements {there's 3 zippers} and I'll contact you. It's a camo cloth bag with the longer one at the top and 2 smaller ones below, for pockets. He wants them all replaced with metal as his son already broke the plastic big one. Thankyou so much! I have a time limit so am thrilled to find these so quickly.
  7. I have to replace a broken zipper in a customer's son's backback. It's 43". So I went to weaver's today. She's getting my box ready and I notice all the stuff and ask if directions come with it. No I was told but I'll need to buy the $32. tool to make it all work. What?? For one thing this metal zipper was way too big for the project, and for another, I need something I can use a hammer with. Where can I order a length of metal zipper, the stops, and sliders & use it without buying a special tool? Thanks.
  8. Anne I am sending Prayers & Good Thoughts for your Daughter & Your Family. I am a cancer survivor and knowing that staying positive & Praying does help.
  9. This has been sold. Thankyou to those that replied.
  10. Tina that's where I bought the pink dye. We were wondering if we could reduce it with alcohol, seeings as it smells alot like it? Thanks Bree, I may try that too. Would Love to be able to use it on this bridle leather as that's mainly what I use.
  11. Do you mean ultra-suede, like garment weight? I have never used it but for some reason it was a hot thing in my saddle club.
  12. That is such Nice work. Doing this is one of my dreams. Hopefully one day I'll be showing mine too. Now I need to learn how. Do you use a machine to braid them?
  13. When you say "then apply oil", what kind of oil? Thanks for the great tip.
  14. I looked and like the vinyl stuff. Might get some of the yellow. Thanks for your help.
  15. I need some of this to put on some leather dog collars for hunting dogs. Where could I get this wholesale or at a good price? Thanks.
  16. That's Unique and nice to look at. Very good job! Thanks for the link, will check them out. I'm always on the hunt for good conchos at a fair price.
  17. I Love the way you made this. Quite nice! I sure would make this a series for sale. It's ready. I am getting ready to start making conceal carry holsters. I am going to use my pistol as a pattern first, then try others.
  18. Very nice. I didn't get to see all of them, or even the whole 1st pic cause of being on dial-up and they're kinda big, but great work.
  19. Those are 1st rate leashes. I have been wanting to braid like this since for a long time now. How is this done?
  20. Wow that anice holster. I am getting ready to make one for my .38. Problem is it's a hammerless pistol so I came up with an idea for it. Will show it when I get it done. Really fine job you did there!
  21. Thankyou all for your imput. Sharpshooter I am not making any for someone, I want to make them to sell. I see sheaths without the knives for sale on ebay, etc. all the time and was wondering how to do it. I have a few knives of my own, maybe start there.
  22. I had made them a couple of times but always had the person's knife here to use as a model. How do you do it without a knife to go by? Thanks.
  23. With my dial-up I can't look at youtube stuff, but hopefully you all are ok and no damage. Here in Ohio we have gotten so much rain, all at once at times, that I swear we needed to build an ark.
