Members shoedoc1 Posted May 21, 2012 Members Report Posted May 21, 2012 (edited) This business is owned by a master custom orthopedic shoe-maker. Prior to starting the business, the owner was a master shoe-maker for Florsheim. The shop has been in its current location since 1975 (37 years) with the same owner, who operated the business until his recent passing. It is located in London, Ontario (Canada). As it stands, it is a turn-key operation. There is a loyal clientele base, as the owner had an excellent reputation in the city for quality craftsmanship, service and dedication to the industry. Customers haven't stopped inquiring about new ownership. Aside from machinery, the shop has a large and redundant inventory of materials, leather, consumable product, tools, equipment (including a huge quantity of wooden lasts) and supplies. This is a partial machinery list: Consew (new) Model TF-6E (with table) Singer Industrial Sewing Machine (patent 1983) (with table) Adler Long Arm Stitcher 30-1 (complete treadle machine) Landis #12 sole stitcher Landis leather skiving machine (manual) Landis Stitchmaster 21 Landis #12 electric sole stitcher Vigevano Volber dust collector (light green) Finishing Machine - Sander, brusher, polisher (blue) All reasonable offers or creative financial arrangements will be considered.
