Nick69 Report post Posted May 21, 2012 Hi all, I've got 2 full hides of upholstery leather, one black and one brown. The black is nice but the brown is naff. I've been lacking inspiration on what do with them as they have been sitting here for months. I made a few handbags for people but can't think of anything interesting to do with it. I got them both for a song but not sure if that makes me feel any better! lol Any suggestions from anyone? Nick

gary Report post Posted May 22, 2012 (edited) Just made a huntin' shootin' an' fishin' type waistcoat for a customer out of upholstery leather. Came out a treat and may even make myself one. Edited May 22, 2012 by gary
lightingale Report post Posted May 22, 2012 [attachment=62024:this weeks work 001 Journals -Notebooks plenty of them...I did.. Luke... Nice workspace! I hope to have a setup like that someday... As for upholstery leather... I bought some recently for filigree belts/dog collars. It's brightly coloured, so I intend to overlay veg tan on top of it and hand sew it together.
