Sewing Machine For Auto Upholstry

Hello there, I'm marc from Denmark and new to this forum.

Im starting to do some.auto upholstery on my own and friends BMW.

Wanted to start for year with this kinda work so here we go!

I need a sewing machine, I already bought a used singer 7-25 from about 50 years before I was born I guess, and that didn't work out very well.

So! I need some real equipment!

A dealer showed me some 8000$+ machines that require air pressure and 380v power.

I don't think that I need that to start out with.

I've been looking at I Juki lu-563 that's for sale en danish ebay for 1000$

Then a Juki 1541s second hand for about 3500$

Will one of these do?

Please keep in mind that everything in Denmark is way more expensive than USA.

Yes,the Juki 563 or 1541S will work,so will Singer 111w152,153,154,155,Consew 225,226 255.Ebay is a good place the get machines as long as you can drive to them & pick it up,I get alot of calls were machines get damaged in shipment do to improper packing.

Seems the consew's not really on the European market,

How about other brands? Can you recommend anyting there?

Like pfaff, global, brother etc?

I know its almost to ask from a consew dealer :-) but I would really appriciate it :-)
