Members glockanator Posted June 25, 2012 Members Report Posted June 25, 2012 I was thinking 1/2" x4". What do y all use for straps? Quote
Members chiefjason Posted June 25, 2012 Members Report Posted June 25, 2012 I recently made some tuckable loops and it took about 10" of leather. I think I went 3/4" wide. If they are not tuckable, then they could be quite a bit shorter. Quote
Members Steven Kelley Posted June 25, 2012 Members Report Posted June 25, 2012 For a 1.5" belt, my belt loops measure 4.5" between the holes. I add 1/2" to one end and 5/8" to the other past the hole. That would make the strap 5 - 5/8" long. Quote
Members malabar Posted June 25, 2012 Members Report Posted June 25, 2012 It depends on your construction. You have to take into account your attachment points and your snap, and the width and thickness of the belt. My blank straps are typically 6.25" and will accommodate up to a 2" belt. tk Quote
Members sgb Posted June 27, 2012 Members Report Posted June 27, 2012 For a 1.5" belt I've found 1" x 5.5" to work well for me Quote
