rogsandoval Report post Posted July 3, 2012 No but seriously this is a guitar strap I just finished. It's fourth one I've done, let me know what you think.

Neillo Report post Posted July 7, 2012 Very nice strap, I keep reminding to make myself one; with a super wide shoulder pad padded with merino shearling, so fuzzy! Do you design the straps specifically for use with strap locks?

Do you design the straps specifically for use with strap locks? I've actually never used strap locks before. I hear they're great for protecting the instrument from falling. The holes I punch are 1/4 inch with 1/2 inch slit. I can punch larger holes to accommodate the strap lock mechanism but not all strap locks are the same. It's definitely worth looking into. Neillo Report post Posted July 7, 2012 Yeah, i know a lot of people that swear by them! Maybe you could offer a wholistic kind of service where you not only provide the strap, but the locks too and fit new strap buttons to the guitar as well, alls you need is a phillips head and the parts!
