Jordan Report post Posted July 25, 2008 Here is the holster I came up with for a Walther P22 with a lite/lazer. There is definitely inherent problems with this setup, not the least of which is the lite/lazer is not the right one for the pistol, the lock channel on the rail does not engage so the darn thing stayed in the holster a couple of times, and pancake probably not the way to go due to the added width of the holster. I am pretty skinny so it won't follow my belt and wrap around my bony hip. Customer will be picking it up tomorrow so I will find out if it will work for him. I will not be making anymore like this, too much dang trouble! maybe as a design excersize in the future. Personally I don't see the need for a lite/lazer on a .22 but it is a neat little unit. Jordan Report post Posted July 25, 2008 A suggestion from Kevin, I added a chicago screw with some leather washers to close up the nose of the holster, it helped hold the pistol in position better and as a added bonus got rid of the little stain on the front that stuck out like a sore thumb Thanks. Jordan Report post Posted July 26, 2008 Customer liked it enough to tip 5 bucks, did real well at the farmers market today, gotta sink it into leather and tools to keep the ball rolling. It was a real exercise to make that one and I don't think I will be making another anytime soon. I am a bit surprised that the sandal key fobs aren't selling but can't seem to make enough wristbands, I hope this continues thru the summer so I can stock up for winter projects. Shorts Report post Posted July 27, 2008 Jordan - that's great news As for the farmers market, go with what's rolling. Isn't it neat to see what items are gaining interest out of the selection you put forth?? Take care
