Members Aulus Posted July 13, 2012 Members Report Posted July 13, 2012 Hi folks, I´m just sewing around with my new Tippmann "Boss" and of course I have a Question: Wich presser foot will fit better for these stiching, a center foot or a zipper foot? Here´s my stitching example: Quote
Members Dwight Posted July 13, 2012 Members Report Posted July 13, 2012 When I got my Boss, . . . seems like right after me and Noah got done with some flooding, . . . it only had the original "Y" foot. I guessed on the center presser foot as the one that would do more for my work: belts, holsters, wallets, etc. I guessed right. It has worked for everything I have ever asked it to do, . . . and your formed cases don't seem like they would be any different. I have even used it occasionally as the 'width" gauge on setting the stitches the right distance from the edge on some "not too critical" projects. FWIW, . . . It is about all that is ever on my machine. May God bless, Dwight Quote
mlapaglia Posted July 14, 2012 Report Posted July 14, 2012 When I got mine last year it came with a bonus pack of all the presser feet. I normally use the left hand zipper foot but in your case the center foot is exactly what I would use for that project. If you only have one extra the center is the one to have. Michael Quote
