Members shirleyz Posted July 25, 2008 Members Report Posted July 25, 2008 Hi Dave, Welcome to leatherworkers. I only have one question. Who puts collars on ferrets? My brothers had ferrets when I was a kid. We never put collars on them. That was a long time ago, not many people had ferrets then. Is this big in Britain now? ShirleyZ Quote
Contributing Member UKRay Posted July 25, 2008 Contributing Member Report Posted July 25, 2008 Collars yes, Shirley, but we never insist on ties... Welcome Dave. Nice to see another Brit here! Ray Quote
Members Gamekeeper Posted July 25, 2008 Author Members Report Posted July 25, 2008 Hi, peopleover here use them with the ferret locators when rabbiting, I think it's illegal over in the states isn't it (not sure though), loads of ferreters over here, it's a growing hobby. I've also made this for someones dog; along with these for the owner; Cheers Dave Quote
Members shirleyz Posted July 25, 2008 Members Report Posted July 25, 2008 I'm originally from Leeds. I remember my brothers going for rabbits. They spent more time digging their ferrets out of the burroughs than anything else. I don't think they ever brought a rabbit home either....lol ShirleyZ Quote
Members Gamekeeper Posted July 25, 2008 Author Members Report Posted July 25, 2008 That's why they use these locator things, saves on hours of digging. Quote
Members IanCantwell Posted July 26, 2008 Members Report Posted July 26, 2008 Welcome Dave, Glad to have you onboard, like the stuff on your site but as a fellow member said pretty slow loading the images even at 7Meg, could put off potential customers. Quote
