Members Aulus Posted July 16, 2012 Members Report Posted July 16, 2012 I´m about reading how to sew around (tight) corners when the gusset is not a latigo, corme tanned, oil tanned or else. I´ve like to use veg tanned, no to thin leather. But this will not bend enough. Would you like to share your tips if you do such kind of gussets? Quote
Members dbusarow Posted July 16, 2012 Members Report Posted July 16, 2012 (edited) Wet form the gussets before sewing. See Stohlman's Custom Saddle Bags for detailed instructions http://www.sdtradingco.com/books-saddles.htm Dan Edited July 16, 2012 by dbusarow Quote
