abbeyroad39402 Report post Posted August 21, 2012 (edited) I'm currently cleaning out my home, and selling my original 1947 Singer Model 31-15 machine. This machine is in good working condition, and only requires basic maintenance such as cleaning and oiling. It was purchased from JB Sewing Machine Service, based out out of Union City, NJ. In addition to the machine, you will also receive the original table, with foot pedal, motor assembly, and mounted light. The 31-15 would be perfect for either industrial grade sewing, hobby projects, or even as an antique piece. Additional Information: Serial Number: AH28574 Model Number: 31-15 Manufacture Date: September 25, 1947 Factory Location: Elizabeth, NJ Edited August 21, 2012 by abbeyroad39402

Thank you How thick a piece of leather can it sew and what would the shipping to 43338 be about?
abbeyroad39402 Report post Posted August 23, 2012 How thick a piece of leather can it sew and what would the shipping to 43338 be about? The 31-15 should be able to handle up to 1/4" thick leather. Unfortunately, shipping will probably be around 200 dollars between freight and packaging.

KAYAK45 Report post Posted August 31, 2012 Hey Tim: Buy it now and make the trip in a month to pick it up. Back road trip through the fall leaves and all? The 31-15 is the bootmakers ideal for stitching tops and intricate work. NOT good for heavy sewing. Kevin
