Very nice work............and if it is Renaissance isn't it supposed to look older and not quite so "perfect"??

I too, think it fits the time period. Lovely work, the detail in the painting really stands out against the black leather.

It looks very nice with the color against the black what type dye is the black and did you color over the black? I was going to a vinageroon project with a rose on it and try to air brush a little color on it. Anyway yours came out looking good. David

There are a lot of things about my outfit that aren't accurate in the least. I was more using the bodice as an advertisement and its fun to show off a functional peice of art work once in a while.

The dyes I used are water-based leather dyes. I get them at Tandy Leather Factory.
