Members Noah Posted August 4, 2008 Members Report Posted August 4, 2008 I either need to find some pink {blue would be good too} leather dye or let me know how to mix the fiebing's leather dye to make at least the pink? Thankyou.. Quote
Contributing Member rdb Posted August 4, 2008 Contributing Member Report Posted August 4, 2008 Angelus dyes have a pink for suede. They also claim to make special colors for you. I don't know how much you have to buy for the special colors, but they might be worth calling. http://www.angelusshoepolish.com/cat3.html Quote

Members Noah Posted August 4, 2008 Author Members Report Posted August 4, 2008 Thanks so much guys. I ordered a couple of bottles in different colors to try out. I really appreciate you helping me find these. Quote
Members Tina Posted August 9, 2008 Members Report Posted August 9, 2008 I use these dyes and like'm. I suggest that you also buy the "reducer" so you can dilute them to desired tone. I post a link here to the place I buy them from" http://www.turtlefeathers.net/text/angelus/dye.html Quote
Bree Posted August 9, 2008 Report Posted August 9, 2008 Just mix white plus a little red and that will give you pink. Add more red to deepen the shade of pink. Quote
Members Noah Posted August 9, 2008 Author Members Report Posted August 9, 2008 Tina that's where I bought the pink dye. We were wondering if we could reduce it with alcohol, seeings as it smells alot like it? Thanks Bree, I may try that too. Would Love to be able to use it on this bridle leather as that's mainly what I use. Quote

Turtlefeathers have a "reducer" ment for thinning the dye out and it is great, I couldt do without it:-) Quote
Members wildrose Posted August 17, 2008 Members Report Posted August 17, 2008 Angelus is good, but I know Tandy has a pink now in their EcoFlo line. I bought it for a girl in a class I was teaching, and she was quite happy with it. Quote
Members Noah Posted August 17, 2008 Author Members Report Posted August 17, 2008 Thankyou tina & rose. I'll check it all out. Quote
