Hi everybody, I'm new to the site. I've been lurking for a while though :)

Mainly I'm interested in sewing machines, which was how I found this forum. Still, I am planning to sew some leather, nothing fancy - belts & sheaths.

Welcome, torrbuidhe!.

If you've been lurking for awhile, I'm sure you found the sewing machine section on this forum. Just about every type machine seems to be represented here. Look for Art's posts, he's a veritable encyclopedia of information about sewing machines.

Don't forget to post pix of your projects, we all learn from each other.

torrbuidhe,

Welcome the Forum. Nice bunch of folks here, always glad to provide an opinion on most anything but mostly leathercraft. What type of leather work have you done in the past if any? If not what type of leather projects are you looking at doing? Would love to see your work.

Thanks for the welcome everybody. I've not done any leatherwork yet but if I hang about here long enough who knows what i'll be inspired to try.

I found this forum when i was searching for information on sewing machines, so I started from the machines section.
