Ambassador pete Posted October 31, 2012 Ambassador Report Posted October 31, 2012 I just got the new Harbor Freight workbench and don't want to drill holes for my skiver(Tandy $299.99) I JUST had it sharpened($20.00) and will sell it for $180 or best offer. I'll take a check or money order, and I will pay shipping anywhere in the U.S. pete
Members Double U Leather Posted November 1, 2012 Members Report Posted November 1, 2012 Pete...do you have a pic of it by chance? I'm needing to get one, just not sure this is what I'm looking for. I like the OBO part too...LOL. Maybe we can do some bargaining and/or horse trading.
Contributing Member TwinOaks Posted November 1, 2012 Contributing Member Report Posted November 1, 2012 Pete, I didn't want to drill holes in my dining room table for my Boss, so I mounted it on a base. Now, when I need my Boss, I mount it on the table with a set of clamps, or take it off the table if I need more layout room. It makes the sewing machine a 'modular' unit instead of a permanently mounted one. Versatility on what machine goes where is pretty handy. Have you thought of doing something like that?
