Hi Everybody,

Here is the piece I entered in the IFOLG show. I very happily won First place in the Masters catagory. I feel very fortunate to come away with anything, concidering what I was up against! I recieved some very nice comments from Akiko Okada, & George Hurst, the people that judged my item. All the colors were done with spirit dyes. Thanks for looking,,, Ed the"BearMan"

I LOVE the way you used the basketweave stamp on the back in curved sections! I may have to do something like that on some future project.

What did you do for the inside? I'd like to make a notebook, but haven't seen a good design for the inside to start with. And I don't know exactly what I want to be able to draw one up.

I hope to one day be able to do this type of dye/staining, carving and tooling. It is so impressive to me to see such a work of art come out of a piece of leather.
