Ambassador abn Posted August 11, 2008 Ambassador Report Posted August 11, 2008 Absolutely amazing. I have no idea how you're able to get that level of detail into your carving. I mean... Take a look at the muscles in her shoulders or the folds of the fabric. Impossibly precise. Congrats... You certainly have my attention! Alex Quote
Bree Posted August 12, 2008 Report Posted August 12, 2008 Every time you post something, I start thinking that you are the Michaelangelo of leatherworking. I won't say great job as that doesn't do justice to the level of skill in this piece. I wish I had a fraction of your ability. Quote
Members bustedlifter Posted August 12, 2008 Members Report Posted August 12, 2008 Pretty cool, very nice detail. Quote
Members BradB Posted August 12, 2008 Members Report Posted August 12, 2008 Holy Smokes, that is amazing! How long have you been working with leather and how long did it take to complete this piece? Quote

Can you tell me what difference between them? BradB I've done the job about over 20 years. I made this work about one week. bobocat Quote
Members lindatt Posted August 12, 2008 Members Report Posted August 12, 2008 What is different about the method that you use? It is definitely remarkable! Quote
Schno Posted August 12, 2008 Report Posted August 12, 2008 I am struck speechless every time I see something you've crafted. Thank you so much for showing us what can be achieved 'outside the box'. Your work is truly inspirational! Quote

Ambassador abn Posted August 12, 2008 Ambassador Report Posted August 12, 2008 "show off" and "Member Gallery"but i don't know the difference between them. Bobocat, the Member Gallery forum is used mainly for introductions... To say "hello" and let members welcome new folks to Leatherworker.net. The Show Off forum is for members to post pictures of their recent projects. You can certainly post wherever you like, but more people will get to see your work if you put it in the Show Off forum. Regards, -Alex Quote
