Here is the newest stamp I have done. It is after a wallet I did for a buddy.

What else do you do ? Like to talk to you about some contract work . This is interesting not my style but interesting non the less . Bill

What materials are you making the stamps from? Acrylic, metal?

Hi Radar67,

I use derin (acetel) which is a very hard plastic originally made by Dupont. This stuff is quite hard and can be machined.

Fortunately, it is laser engravable too. Cheers!

I have a Made in America stamp from Studio-N and the quality is great. Makes awesome deep impressions if I want it to and the detail is excellent. Funny enough, it just happens to be the right size to fit in the head end of my 21oz. Bearman Maul so I can hammer it or use it in the shop press. I've thumped it dozens of times this way with a 28 oz. maul and not a single issue with cracking or chipping.
