Need A Class In Using A Heavy Duty Leather Sewing Machine

I have purchased a sewing machine for sewing heavy leather. I would love to find some instruction on using the machine. Beginner so basic information, adjusting tension, what thread to use, etc. I want to make leather belts and stitch around the edge with contrasting color thread. 8/9 oz leather. Would love to find a week long class or maybe a weekend class.

Not sure about a class, but Zack White leather in Ramseur, NC sales sewing machines. They might be able to offer some help. Depending on where you are in NC it might only be a few hours drive for you.
