Sorry about the cruddy cellphone photos.

First off, some sheaths...

and the good part.

So I finally attempted a large scale project, a saddle bag for my Honda Ruckus. It was about 8"X10"X5" and I dyed it with vinegaroon and I was very pleased with how it turned out.

I was going to take a picture of it on my scooter but about half a day after I put it on someone stole it! I guess it must be pretty good if someone wanted it enough to steal it.

That totally sucks! It must have looked good though, the rest of your stuff does!!

I was just thinking about that issue the other day and ways to combat theft... Has anyone ever sewn cable into their straps and a way to lock the straps with a padlock? Just a thought....

I'm not sure about that, but the set I'm using now (which I didn't make) I ended up just drilling holes in the back and bolting them to the frame directly.

I'm thinking for the next one I'm going to use those U bolts to attach the bag. Not a lot of body panel on a Ruckus.

Nice looking work. What about punching holes in the bag and using U bolts to hold them on? Not a lock, but could be a deterrent.
