WScott Report post Posted January 6, 2013 These are really cool. Been using a lot of zip-ties (so cheap and many different sizes and colors) to hold stuff together during testing and stitching....just a thought as string tying it off can let it shift. I really like the cross stitching detail in the first set of pictures. Great work, thanks for sharing

Imapeopleperson Report post Posted January 6, 2013 Thanks for all the comments. I'm sorry the pictures didn't go in order but some were too big to upload. I probably have about a good solid 10 hours in making it. I know I watched 3 complete episodes of gold rush commercials and all on just the cross stitch. Lol. The inner core is a standard section of PVC pipe 2 inch od. 43 inches long and died dark brown and then antiques . Heavy coat of mink oil and pig skin used for liner. Wool placed in the bottom and top to give it a little cushion. I really enjoyed making it. Not that complicated and hours of relaxation . Lol. Thank you all for this site. It's awesome to see all the work and ideas you can get from here.
