Members Craftt Posted January 15, 2013 Members Report Posted January 15, 2013 who of us have ever transposed letters in a name to ruin a project? I did recently but this was my solution for salvaging the project. the name Leah was to be under the bible, but i started it looking at the letters three times and still put the a before the e. there goes it!!!!!! Members Cogs Posted January 15, 2013 Members Report Posted January 15, 2013 Been there! Done that! I found a good excuse, when that happens... I learned the phrase "Senior Moment"! It's my regular 'go to' cop out. Leah will be thrilled with that, name or not, because it is a very nice work of art. You did good! Bill Quote Leather has it's own natural flaws... So does the artist! :}
Members ReneeCanady Posted January 15, 2013 Members Report Posted January 15, 2013 Great design! I am a new fan of the hair on hide also. As far as tripple checking and then still making the mistake you were afraid of has been a part of all our lives I am sure. I know I just recently did it. For my anniversary I made my husband a vintage looking cell phone case and put SINCE (picture of love doves here) 2009 Well.....let's just say I used the 6 LOL. Of course it was like one of the last steps and I was about to cry. I wet the leather again and pounded the 9 over the 6 until it looked good. Quote www.facebook.com/alteredleather
