How Can I Fix This Color?

Dyed this with oil dye.applied Neatsfoot oil to the back, accidentally got a spot on front, so had to oil whole thing to keep it from spotting. Now the right side is darker, this has Sat over night,I tried the fan and even blow dryer to make sure it's dry. I have not applied any finish yet.

bury in cat litter to pull the oil out. Once done, reapply...sparingly.
