Members Killerkaney Posted February 9, 2013 Members Report Posted February 9, 2013 Hi everybody, I have been lucky enough to be watching a master at leather at work for over 10 years before having a go back in 2003 under instruction when I made some kit for work. Other than the odd pouch I didn't really do anything until last year when I made a camera strap for a colleague. That went quite well and I seem to have the bug ! I recently finished a belt that I posted on the show off thread, and I am going to try and concentrate on belts for a bit and hone my skills and hopefully sell a few ;-). I love working with natural materials although my original background is in engineering and metal. I use the end of a table in my kitchen but I am planning to expand slightly. I recently made my own saddlers clam out of some old oak whiskey barrel staves that has turned out nice. I look forward to swapping ideas and opinions and looking at some lovely work ! Have fun and be happy ! Quote Not dead, can't quit.
