2palominos1bay Report post Posted February 9, 2013 Hoping some ideas can be shared about where to get something to clear go across the front of a photo, maybe other than glass, for a leather frame project. Ideas and suggestions for suppliers appreciated greatly. Thanks!
LNLeather Report post Posted February 10, 2013 You didn't mention size or whether it needs to be stiff or if flexible would be OK. I always keep any clear plastic packaging and cut it into smaller sizes I may need. I don't know if it can be bought at a crafts store, but that is a possibility. Also you might use a clear plastic page protector - it could be cut into 2 large pieces. Hope this helps
EmbossingDieCompany Report post Posted February 10, 2013 (edited) I use Mylar or Duralar : http://www.dickblick...ckTracking=true If you have an art store near you, they typically carry it in different thicknesses. Craft stores might sell it as a stencil material. Edited February 10, 2013 by EmbossingDieCompany
LNLeather Report post Posted February 10, 2013 Hey Thanks - I wasn't sure what to call it. I found Mylar At Amazon in page size sheets and also a large roll of 5 mil that is 40 inches wide by 12 feet.
OdinUK Report post Posted February 12, 2013 I'd say use thin perspex.
