Members roadking07 Posted August 23, 2008 Members Report Posted August 23, 2008 I'm new to the art of leatherworking - less than a month. Here are some pics of my first wallet - it is all hand stitched (read sore fingers) - a tandy wallet I got in my leatherworker kit. ETW Grumpy Posted August 23, 2008 Report Posted August 23, 2008 Welcome. Looks really good. Your stitches look even and well done. The color is good and the tooling looks good. My only concern is that the design will flatten out over time where the bend is. Overall for a first wallet, it's really good. Keep posting pics of your work. Quote
Members BradB Posted August 23, 2008 Members Report Posted August 23, 2008 That stitching looks great for a first piece!!! The tooling looks good also, I agree with Grumpy that the tooling may flatten out were the wallet bends. All and all that is a great first project, use it with pride! Quote
