SooperJake Report post Posted February 23, 2013 What should I adjust when the knots are visible from the bottom? I sometimes have to switch between the flat plate and the holster plate and when using the holster plate, it seems the knots show up more often. Wizcrafts Report post Posted February 23, 2013 Less bottom tension, more top tension, or a larger needle size.

Rayban Report post Posted February 23, 2013 (edited) I was getting those when I forgot to give the thread one full wrap around the second (btm) tension wheel. ( I have the 3500) I thought I could thread the machine in my sleep, guess I can't yet. Edited February 23, 2013 by Rayban

Wizcrafts Report post Posted February 23, 2013 I feed the thread down, through the steel loop guide over the bottom disks, then around the disks twice, then back up through the guide, then to the thread check spring, etc.
