KurseD Report post Posted March 10, 2013 Outstanding man. Did you use an airbrush for the red inside the skull?
chancey77 Report post Posted March 10, 2013 Outstanding man. Did you use an airbrush for the red inside the skull? Yes I did... Although watering down the brush will give the same effect. I just got the airbrush rig with a couple different guns so the only way I practice is by doing it in actual work:) more pressure to get it right and I like jumping into the fire:)
chancey77 Report post Posted March 11, 2013 Well my part of the bike is done hahaha
chancey77 Report post Posted March 13, 2013 Well I dropped off the seat last night and got my first actual viewing of the bike before it heads to the paint shop for some rootbeer flake and black and antique white paint...WOW This bike is awesome 100% handmade from the ground up! The guy has made 100% of all the metal and brass work himself! Very nice job and some cool parts!!! I am so stoked he thought of me to make the seat instead of making one from brass:) hahaha
Cyberthrasher Report post Posted March 13, 2013 NOW WE'RE TALKING!!!! That thing is Sweet!! I love that jockey shift and the overall steampunk like design of the parts

KurseD Report post Posted March 17, 2013 (edited) Beautiful craftsmanship all around. Do they have a website? I'm looking, but can't find anything. Edited March 17, 2013 by KurseD
chancey77 Report post Posted March 17, 2013 No he is a solo guy that lives on a road translated to middle street....it isn't an actual bike shop...He works at a metal fabricating facility and has made most all of the parts at work.

chancey77 Report post Posted March 23, 2013 wow, im apreciating the tooling details and the colorings. there is alot going on, i like the creative way you used punched holes to decorate Thanks! Punched holes? DO you mean the dots around the face?
paprhangr Report post Posted March 23, 2013 yes. what tool did you use for the dots? how much time it take you to tool that seat? I haven't had enough practice to do a good bevel and background
KurseD Report post Posted March 23, 2013 what tool did you use for the dots? Looks like he used a stylus for the dots.
