AMMO Report post Posted March 8, 2013 The inserts on my Dad's Fatboy seat were tearing, so I took them out and made a seat to match the flame theme on his bike.

KurseD Report post Posted March 17, 2013 Very nice. This one has me thinking about recovering my "Fat Elvis" model Mustang seat on my softail. I like the seat form, just don't like the studs and conchos on it (that's why I nicknamed it my "Fat Elvis" seat). Think I should try it? What advise would you give a leather noob on re-doing stock seats?

What's the worst thing that could happen????? You may have to try again...thats about it:)

leatherworm Report post Posted March 18, 2013 Sharp design work and that is some good looking, heavy leather. I know it takes time for this and it shows. Heck, I even like the background wood.
AMMO Report post Posted March 18, 2013 Thanks for all the kind words. I had fun with the design and tooling but hand stitching that son of a bitch back together was a pain in the ass.
