jlaudio29 Report post Posted March 22, 2013 Cant figure out what is going on, machine was running fine, now every other stitch or almost every other stitch you can see the top thread on the bottom. Hope that makes sense. I dont think it can be a tension issue, but i dont know for sure. the springy eyelet thing seems to make a loud click sound, not sure if its normal or if its part of the problem, once something goes wrong every little noise seems out of the ordinary and its hard to remember if it made that sound before haha. mikesmith648 Report post Posted March 22, 2013 I would start at the spool and work my way down. Sounds like your thread is hanging up somewhere. Is the spool directly under the arm so it pulls the thread straight up off the spool? Also check all along the thread to see if it jumped out of the guides along the way. One of these issues is usually what causes the same sound and effect on mine............just my 2 cents worth Mike
cmantz Report post Posted March 22, 2013 I agree with Mike. I learned in my years running commercial embroidery machines...always start with the simple things like needles and thread path. Take the thread out and re-thread it. It is amazing how something so simple can cause you the most headaches.

Jbarv Bulls Report post Posted March 22, 2013 Mine was doing that, a friend told me to take the bobbin and shuttle out and clean all the gunk that had built up inside there, cleaned it out, worked like a champ.
