I got a request from one of my regular clients to come look to see if I could do anything with his old desk he bought here in Finland. So here is what I came up with...Furniture is not my normal thing, but what the heck it was fun!

At first I started with the nails through the tapes marks but then I realized after the first row I would just mark them with the awl and take off the tape...much easier than taking off teh tape after the first row of nails was lightly pushed through:) Like I said I don't do this work normally but I learned pretty fast what not to do:)

Beautiful workmanship. As nice as this is, you could make furniture one of your featured operations. Well done.

God Bless.

Thanks Ray!

I have done my fair share of thrift store and estate sale find quick rehabs but this is my first desk:9 I do love a leather top desk!

and after seeing this one with a terrible vinyl repair that didn't even go to the edges and dint have any repair work done I had to get down and dirty. I had lots of repair work to teh wood top to make it level and no gaps do to the shrinkage over the years but now it is smooth as silk.

I had a lot of fun doing something different the last couple days on this! No tooling!!!!! AWESOME! hahaha
