rawhide1 Report post Posted March 28, 2013 I just got my first patcher a singer 29k 62 sn ED109390 I think it's a 41 model. Anyway I ordered some thread and needles today. I can't hardly wait to use it. I got all kinds if stuff I'm gonna sew around the house with it!! I was wondering for ya folks that sew material like jeans. gottaknow Report post Posted March 29, 2013 We're currently making jeans in the factory and have made Levi's in the past before they took all their production out of the country. For denim we use polyester core, cotton wrap thread in size 60. Some companies spec size 80, both with be plenty strong. Have fun!
