Members rglinla Posted April 2, 2013 Members Report Posted April 2, 2013 I am using a Cobra machine, which I am told can do everything great! The issue I have is that when I sew veg tan leather, I get a fine top stich, but on the underside, the leather gets dent pattern on it. This is from the pressue of the needled forcing the leather against the throat plate opening. I do not want this. I've changed needles by recommendation from the people where I bought the machine but it still does this. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks! Quote
Members mikesmith648 Posted April 2, 2013 Members Report Posted April 2, 2013 The needle has nothing to do with the presser foot marks. Try loosening the presser foot tension and see if that helps. Too loose and it won't feed properly though! Quote
