My Great Uncle was injured by Poison gas in WWI. While he was hospitalized he was introduced to leathercrafting by a nurse. Years later he taught my dad. Last year, while going through some old stuff I had stored, I came across my dad's tools. I wanted a hobby so I figured hy not try this? So here I am a year and several hundred dollars later still plugging away and enjoying it. My Great Uncle was in the trenches, and now I'm often in the weeds. Go figure.
