Members neiltl Posted April 6, 2013 Members Report Posted April 6, 2013 My Great Uncle was injured by Poison gas in WWI. While he was hospitalized he was introduced to leathercrafting by a nurse. Years later he taught my dad. Last year, while going through some old stuff I had stored, I came across my dad's tools. I wanted a hobby so I figured hy not try this? So here I am a year and several hundred dollars later still plugging away and enjoying it. My Great Uncle was in the trenches, and now I'm often in the weeds. Go figure. Quote
