Members Josiah Posted April 13, 2013 Members Report Posted April 13, 2013 This is the 1st pancake style I have done. Horsehide, left natural and the Feibings Leather sheen finish really brought out the grain! I am glad I was just messing around with it to see if I like horse, so this one is mine. Quote
mlapaglia Posted April 13, 2013 Report Posted April 13, 2013 On the whole it looks good. Your stitch line on the top of the slide needs to be closer to the slide next time. Over time it will loosen and the gun will lose its grip in the holster. You did a good job. Keep at it. Well done. Michael Quote

Members mmn Posted April 14, 2013 Members Report Posted April 14, 2013 Thank you. I fixed that stitchline today. How did you fix it? Add another stitch line? Regards Michael Quote
Members Josiah Posted April 14, 2013 Author Members Report Posted April 14, 2013 Yes. Not sure why they weren't right since I used the same measurements for a clipon and those lines were tight. You can see from the pic that I already fixed the trigger side. Now it matches Quote
Jaymack Posted April 16, 2013 Report Posted April 16, 2013 Were'd you get the horsehide. Looks great on your holster. Quote
Members Josiah Posted April 16, 2013 Author Members Report Posted April 16, 2013 Zack White. I requested an interesting grain pattern and got it. Quote
