Members Candice Joubert Posted May 21, 2013 Members Report Posted May 21, 2013 Hi all I live in South Africa, and have just moved from the coast up to awesome Johannesburg! Joining a leather working site is probably a bit premature, seeing as my entire leather work experience consists of a lanyard and a failed phone cover, but I'm hoping to learn a lot from this site. I'm interested in making my dog a leather dog collar and a leash, but being new to Johannesburg, I have no idea where to look for the leather strips or the hardware. Any fellow Joburg'ers out there who could point me in the right direction? I'm in Randburg, North West. Thanks, and it's great to join such a friendly community :-) Quote

Did start Leathercraft again after 15 years of absence from the craft. Was in the SA leathercrafters Federation for a few years before I got very busy getting my Embroidery business going. But I am back. E-mail if you got questions. vadmer@telkomsa.net Quote
