fattabbyleather Report post Posted June 6, 2013 I've been looking at previous posts on making leather slap jack style saps. I have everything I need except flat spring steel for the handle. What can I use for spring steel that will last? One post said metal packing straps but once they bend they stay bent. Anyone have any ideas for a more resilient material? Longview Report post Posted June 21, 2013 I once made a handle device using 3 or 4 used hack saw blades sewn between layers of leather. It worked quite well. Don
