Members cem Posted June 28, 2013 Members Report Posted June 28, 2013 I use a small manual one, what are you wanting to put through one. I use mine for canvas linings, got it from Pot Devin very helpful people to deal with if you want more info. Quote
Members steadybrook Posted June 28, 2013 Author Members Report Posted June 28, 2013 Thanks, I want to glue lining leathers on bridles etc.. Where is Pot Devin? Quote
Members cem Posted June 28, 2013 Members Report Posted June 28, 2013 (edited) There in New Jersey, so I had it posted out to me took a little while to get it as they was some sort of postal back log at the time. Pot Devin and Schaefer are the main companies I have heard of for them. I don't have to do a lot so went with a manual machine if your doing a substantial amount and the lining is thickish you probably will want a motorised one. They occasionally come up on Ebay if you don't want a new one. Edited June 28, 2013 by cem Quote
Members steadybrook Posted June 29, 2013 Author Members Report Posted June 29, 2013 Thanks, I bought a couple of used ones and they work great,I can gauge the thickness of the glue coating the leather and the width of the glue line too. Quote
