Chair Or Stool You Use With Your Stitcher?

I've been using a wooden barstool with my Cowboy CB4500 and I hate it. Front to back it is too shallow to sit on comfortably . If you have a really comfortable chair or stool you use with your machine, I'm looking for suggestions. Wheels or no wheels? Photos are a plus. Thanks!

With my CB4500, I dropped the stand all the way down to the level of a regular machine, and use one of the nice office-type swivel chairs on casters that I use with my other machines. I really don't care to work standing up if I don't have to !!

I am 6'1", . . . long legged, . . . and like Cascabel, . . . I use one of those nice swiveling, 5 roller, office chairs. It has a high back (I can kick back and take a snooze if I want to, . . . don't have to hit the couch).

Unlike him, . . . I have both (2 similar chairs in my work space) all the way up as high as they will go. Easier on the old legs that way.

One is well over 15 years old, . . . kinda rickety, . . . but very comfy, . . . the other is getting broke in as it is just over 10.

If you still want the height of a barstool, I use a padded swivel one, that has a back on it. The seat is pretty deep on it..almost too deep for me, as it makes my legs fall asleep. I'm 5'7", so it would probably work really well for a taller person. I got mine at Canadian Tire, but you can probably get one at Walmart or somewhere similar.

+1 with the office stool. I also have a Cobra 4 that I have in the lowest position with the table attachment. I have it located at 90 degrees right next to my workbench which is table-height (even in its lowest position the Cobra's table is still a good foot higher than my workbench). I needed a swiveling stool that has a height adjustment to accommodate both workstations. I found this "Boss medical office stool" online at a number of outlets, but Walmart was the least expensive and the free "Ship-to-store" option was convenient for me. The Boss stool is sturdy and it has a back that give me nice lumbar support (albeit with very limited adjustment). It rolls on its casters and swivels nicely and raises and lowers with a lever under the seat. Sooper Jake, 21" lowest, 27" at the highest position.

Office chair with wheels, the four sewing machines I am using have all in the same height; approx 33,5 inches (center arm height).

I wheel between them in the same chair. A simple padded office chair without arm rest, I prefer to keep my self awake during working hours.

I was using a small latter stool if you will and I just bought a craftsmen shop stool at sears so far I like it . No wheels.I have a cobra 4 and I lowered it the lowest possible. with the stool now I look forward to raising it again
