Members Bigtyny Posted August 10, 2013 Members Report Posted August 10, 2013 Ok this is my first post so I use to work for saddle shop and would like to get back in to working with leather tack and saddle and would like to know if its a good idea to get a tool get or get it piece by piece I can't remember everything I need so I don't know I also would like to know were is a good place to find used equipment like clickers and slicer I really kick myself for not getting some equipment from my old boss when he was getting out and were to get leather and hand tools too Quote
electrathon Posted August 10, 2013 Report Posted August 10, 2013 Your best bet by far is to find a guy shutting down a saddle shop and buy him out. Even if you have to travel across the US with a truck to pick it up you would save thousands, maybe tens of thousands. Quote

He has a Randall stitcher and all the tools and bench machines you would need. Bruce Johnson here on this site is a good place to start also.
