Members RiverCity Posted August 18, 2013 Members Report Posted August 18, 2013 Im making a case that has a lot of white chrome tanned upholstery leather. Do you think it would be ok to seal it with resolene so that it is easier to wipe down and keep clean? Chuck Quote
Members DoubleC Posted August 18, 2013 Members Report Posted August 18, 2013 Hi Chuck. My experience is that resolene will just peel off of the chrome tanned. Cheryl Quote
Members RiverCity Posted August 18, 2013 Author Members Report Posted August 18, 2013 Well thats not good.... LOL Do you know of something that I can use to seal it? Im new to this kind of leather, only chrome tans Ive ever used have been oil skins. Chuck Quote
Members DoubleC Posted August 18, 2013 Members Report Posted August 18, 2013 I have a chrome tanned messenger bag and never treated it with anything. It doesn't wipe off so easily but it repels water on it's own. I don't know of anything you can use really, maybe someone else will have some answers Cheryl Quote
