My Edge Works

Someone ask me how to do that.

I used Tannin tanning leather BUTTERO from Italy.

1. The leather I used, over 3mm thickness.

2. cut edge with edge beveler(edger), face and bottom.

3. sandpaper.

4. add water to edge. I used water tissue simply.

5. rub lightly with folder.

6. this is edge kote I like. Girba company's IRIS from Italy. matt type dark brown color.

this edge kote well suited with tannin leather, I think.

7. When I paint edge, I used sponge called Magic-block.

(this sponge is for cleaning works.)

8. paint edge 1 time.

9. become dry

10. sandpaper again.

11. paint again.

If you want perfect edge, sandpaper and paint again and again.

This is my favorite way.

use edger and sandpaper and rub with folder.

1. this is hardener for leather.

2. cover 1 time.

3. when edge dry, sanding with sandpaper.

4. cover 1 time again.

it seems natural and get strong edge.

when you add dye to edge before cover hardener,

you got various edge face.
