Bejush Report post Posted September 17, 2013 Hi, I am beginner in braiding ( working with paracord and other syntetic materials at this time) and I would like to try to make a romal reins from paracord. But I have a problem. I cant find a tutorial for nice splicing ends of reins...that part under wide knot on a bit side of reins...I can find a splicing of twisted rope etc. but I dont know to splice 8 or 12 strand braids to make a nice loop on the ends...anybody could help please? TXAG Report post Posted September 17, 2013 I thought the ABOK has a big section on splices in it...

TXAG Report post Posted September 17, 2013 I heard that...but can't find it on the internet Yeah, you're going to need to buy it. It's copyrighted, so it's not going to be on the Internet. Many libraries have it available to borrow too.
megabit Report post Posted September 17, 2013 This example is for a leash but it is the same (you just make a smaller loop): http://myriam.dakotabraiding.com/Tutorials/Leash/Leash.html Mostly you loop back, follow the existing strands and cover it with a button. TXAG Report post Posted September 18, 2013 Ashley Book of Knots. Pretty much "the" reference book of knots.
