mathbishop Report post Posted October 10, 2013 I am having problems keeping my lines straight when Sewing on my Singer 111w153. I saw this image and thought that the attachment used would solve my problem. What is it and is there something similar that can be attached to my Singer 111w153? Andrew Chee Report post Posted October 10, 2013 Drop down edge guide. Look up kwokhing.com. The only issue is that I'm not sure which one would fit your machine. Someone else may know. Andrew
Wizcrafts Report post Posted October 10, 2013 You can take or send your machine to an industrial sewing machine dealer and have them properly install a drop down edge guide. Most of the Chinese attachment builders have no idea what a Singer 111 looks like on the back of the head. They deal in current brands and models. oltoot Report post Posted October 10, 2013 While the edge guide would be the best solution, if you have a clutch motor there may be another. On the left side of Singer setups there is an adjustment which is a throttle stop which can smooth out alternate bursts of speed and let you hold the foot pedal all the way against it and learn to sew in a smoother, more controlled fashion. Solved a lot of similar issues on my 211G566u
