8 strand square buffalo rawhide and 3 pattern chrome tan nosebutton, probably shouldnt have gone as wild on the nose and tried to keep it straighter but as a whole im pretty proud of this one

I like the pattern changes. Only thing I would be worried about is the nose button doesn't look real smooth. Might irritate the horse, might not I guess you'll just have to go use it and find out for us. :)

yeah if i cant get it sold the next little while im gonna use it on my 2 rein pony

Nice, I like the pattern changes too. It looks straight to me, but maybe that's just in comparison to some of mine (just kidding) It looks great. Buck

I have found in making/using bosals, bosalitos that it serves one well to have an assortment available for use, some smooth as fuzz on a bee's belly and some a little rough. Rough ones to start and get attention, smooth to reward responsiveness. Then occasionally when one gets to ignoring the slighter cues, switch back to rough for awhile. And in some cases you even find a place for a mix, eg smooth nose, rough cheeks. Another trick, though less glamorous than having a full range of bosals-vet wrap. Have a rough one when needed but smooth it out with the VW.
