Members Cameroo Posted October 26, 2013 Members Report Posted October 26, 2013 Here's a little something I made for a friend recently as part of a trade. He told me a few design specs that he wanted included, and this is what I came up with. He is going to add some finishing touches himself - buttons made from antler and some sort cord to lace it to his arm. Quote
Members campbell990 Posted October 26, 2013 Members Report Posted October 26, 2013 Wow I really love what you did here with the inlay as well as the two directional basket weave! Nice work! Quote
Members Undeadzombiehunter Posted October 26, 2013 Members Report Posted October 26, 2013 As an archer i would love one of these. Beautiful work. That basket weave is a great affect when done well, you have such a nice job. Was the ray very hard to stitch? I have tried before and just could not get the stitch hole where i wanted it, they went where the ray wanted them to go :-( Tony Quote
Members MonicaJacobson Posted October 26, 2013 Members Report Posted October 26, 2013 Really nice! I love the stingray, and the colors look very rich together. Quote
Members Cameroo Posted October 26, 2013 Author Members Report Posted October 26, 2013 Thanks for the feedback Tony, I know what you mean about stitching the stingray. In this case I used a thonging chisel to punch my holes, so I didn't have much of a problem. Quote
MadMorbius Posted October 29, 2013 Report Posted October 29, 2013 Very clean...nicely done! Question though...how does it secure in place? Quote
