Hi folks,

I recently purchased a Golden Wheel brand leather skiving machine. Its pretty lovely except it leaves these lines in the leather when I pass the leather through. What can I do to fix this? Any ideas?

Thank you,

Dresden

Sharpen the blade. There are nicks on the cutting edge.

What side of the leather are the lines on?

Hi folks,

I should have said the lines are on the nice top side of the leather. So you know how the presser for is kinda curved?! Well the corners of the foot leave these lines/indentations all thought the piece that it has passed through. It shoes too much for my liking. Any advice? It's definitely not the blade being dull.

Thanks guys,

I'd guess that too much pressure or clearance could be a problem or a worn part causing the damage requires dressing or replacing.
